Below are the tips and products in detail ⬇️ Also, everything I’ve used is preg/BF safe since I have been pregnant for the last nearly eight months. ⏺️ For double cleansing • Cleansing balms - @klairs.in cleansing oil @thefaceshopindia_official light cleansing oil @dyou.co cleansing balm • Micellar Water - @biodermaindia or @garnierindia • Face Wash - @simpleskincareindia refreshing gel wash @skincarebydrv micellar face wash @larocheposay face wash for acne prone skin, Cipla Saslic Wash (during active acne) ⏺️ For Niacinamide I honestly feel most niacinamide serums are similar and tend to work well the brands I reached mostly for were @theordinary @plumgoodness and @acne.squad. I either used them once a day or twice a day. It helped me majorly with oil control, shrinking appearance of pores & whiteheads that popped up every now & then. ⏺️ For Azelaic Acid Initially I used the Dermatica AzeProactive Azelaic Acid (in Indian pharmacies) was prescribed by my dermat @drameeshamahajan . I liked it but as soon as it got over I used the @drunkelephant one and it cleared my marks & brightened my skin (available abroad only). ⏺️ For Spot Correctors @acne.squad spot corrector for active acne and @mariobadescu overnight drying lotion. ⏺️ Diet • Dairy and sugar were my triggers for hormonal acne. Lowering their intake to once or twice a week rather than completely cutting them off my diet helped. Apart from that, I noticed my breakouts were directly proportional to my water in take so drinking a lot of water was non negotiable for me. ⏺️ Other tips that helped I also made sure I used non comedogenic skincare at all times, unless I couldn’t in the case of product reviews. I also used salicylic acid masks 1-2 times a week on areas that I had active acne on. Brands I liked are @thedermacoindia and @theordinary It’s important that you consult a dermatologist if your hormonal acne gets out of hand. You may need prescription based medication. More on this in my preg/BF highlights. I am not a dermatologist and this is my journey based on my experience and research. Please patch test and do your own research before use.".
